Join The Thistle

Thistle is an official University-recognized student organization, funded in part by the Carnegie Mellon activities fee. We adhere to the University's non-discrimination policy and accept members from all class levels and academic majors.

It takes a diverse set of students and skill sets to create Thistle. We are always looking for interested photographers, designers, writers, proofreaders, as well as any technically-inclined or business-savvy individuals.

Working on Thistle not only hones your creative abilities, but also provides opportunities for valuable leadership experience.

There is no application process. To get involved, just drop us an email at thistle@thethistle.org, stop by our office on the third floor of the University Center (room 322), or find us at the Activities Fair at the beginning of every semester.
